White box with red CATEX® logo. Labeled Dry Powder For Suspension, Ciprofloxacin USP 250mg/5ml, 60ml (After Reconstitution). Bottom says Broad-Spectrum Antibiotic. Red and blue dot pattern. This is the higher strength version of CATEX 125mg/5ml suspension you sent earlier.
Work: Broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic in powder form to be reconstituted with water. Ciprofloxacin 250mg/5ml used for bacterial infections - urinary, respiratory, GI, skin etc. Suspension form is easier for children or adults who cannot swallow tablets. Kills bacteria by inhibiting DNA gyrase.
