Work: Oral antidiabetic for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Type II. Combination of Sitagliptin 50mg (DPP-4 inhibitor that increases incretin hormones to increase insulin release and decrease glucagon) + Metformin HCl 500mg (reduces hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity). Helps control high blood sugar when diet, exercise and single agent not sufficient.
