Work: It is an ovulation stimulant and anti-estrogen medicine. Used to treat infertility in women who do not ovulate, it stimulates ovulation by blocking estrogen receptors in the brain which increases release of FSH and LH hormones. Also used in male hypogonadism and in some cases of anovulatory infertility.
