Work: Combination topical ointment. Betamethasone is a strong corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, itching and redness. Salicylic acid is keratolytic, it softens and sheds thick scaly skin. Used to treat psoriasis, chronic eczema, hyperkeratotic conditions, and thick scaly patches where steroid alone is not enough.
