Work: Third generation cephalosporin antibiotic for children. Cefpodoxime inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis. Used for pediatric bacterial infections - ear infections, throat, sinus, bronchitis, urinary infections. Higher strength DS = 80mg per 5ml vs regular 40mg.
