Work: Second-generation antihistamine. Cetirizine blocks H1 histamine receptors. Used for allergic rhinitis, hay fever, sneezing, runny nose, itchy eyes, urticaria (hives), allergic skin itching. Less sedating than first-gen antihistamines.
